It's a Wonderful Life

Dramatized by James W. Rodgers. Adapted from the film by Frank Capra.

Directed by David Woldseth

"And dance by the light of the moon..."

You've seen the movie-- now see the stage play. George Bailey, the Everyman from the small town of Bedford Falls, gets a visit from his guardian angel on Christmas Eve to save him from despair and to remind him he has had a wonderful life. The angel shows him what the world would have been like had he never been born. This faithful adaptation has all your favorite characters: George and Mary Hatch, Clarence, Uncle Billy, Violet, and, of course, boo, hiss, Mr. Potter.

In honor of the ol' Bailey Building and Loan, half the show's profits will be donated to Habitat for Humanity of Dane County.
