Honk Jr.

Book & Lyrics by Anthony Drewe; Music by George Stiles

Directed by Xan Johnson

HONK! Jr. is the story of Ugly, whose odd, gawky looks instantly incite prejudice from his family and neighbors. Separated from the farm and pursued by a hungry Cat, Ugly must find his way home. Along his high spirited and harrowing journey he not only discovers his true beauty, but also finds love and acceptance in all its forms. Witty and hilarious, but also deeply moving, HONK! Jr. will treat our audience to equal amounts of laughter and tears.

HONK! Jr. is a wonderful reminder of all the things we hope our children will learn. The message is to accept others for who they are, not what they look like, and to remember that being different is okay!
