By Samm Art-Williams

Directed by Ron OJ Parson

When Cephus Miles' childhood sweetheart leaves for college and Cephus ignores his Vietnam draft-notice --refusing to fight in a war he doesn't believe in -- his idealistic world in North Carolina falls apart. Cephus is thrown in jail and later struggles for years in New York City. Cephus believes all hope is lost after losing his job, the respect of his community and becoming homeless, until he realizes the old cliche stands true: there's no place like Home.
