Fugitive Songs

Music by Chris Miller, lyrics by Nathan Tysen

Directed by Karen Olivo

Our life choices never fade quietly into the distance, but can inspire and remind us of why transitions are important. The predictability of a routine can be a comfort or a curse. So sometimes we run. Fugitive Songs is that journey. In her directorial debut, Tony Award-winner Karen Olivo presents a song cycle that travels across America in which people say, “I could be something greater.” The road points toward the unknown, but “there is hope in the forecast and one day we’re bound to shine.”
