Frankenstein: The Radio Play

Adapted from the classic novel "Frankenstein" by Mary Wollstencraft Shelley. This is a staged production of an old time radio show with actors reading from scripts. The show features actors portraying multiple roles, sound effects created live, and old timey radios ads written for local sponsors - all performed in front of a live audience.

Auditions

Auditions will be held on the following days:

Auditions are Saturday, August 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Monday, August 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. at John M. Evans Hall, 104 W. Main St. in Evansville.

This is a staged production of an old time radio show with actors reading from scripts, so no memorization is required. The show features actors portraying multiple roles, sound effects created live, and old timey radios ads written for local sponsors - all performed in front of a live audience.

There are ten vocal roles for adults - six men and four women. A few might do a little singing. No experience is needed - newcomers are welcome!
