Five Women Wearing the Same Dress

By Alan Ball

Directed by Patt Dischler

Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, written by Alan Ball (TV’s True Blood and Six Feet Under) tells the story of five bridesmaids who all have their own unique connection to the bride and each other. At times comic, poignant and profane, it strips back the niceties and gets to the heart of relationships… especially among women.

Director Patt Dischler is looking for five women (characters have ages approximately age 20-40) and one man (character under 40). Auditions are January 5 and 6, 7:00 p.m., at Stoughton Village Players Theater, 255 E. Main Street, Stoughton WI.

Readings will be from the script with some improvised scenes as well. If you cannot make these dates or have other questions, contact Patt Dischler at gmadisch@yahoo.com. The show dates are March 6-8 and 13-15, 2014.
