Directed by DeeDee Bouzek, Alyse Weber and Alex Grasl

The final class of New York City's celebrated High School for the Performing Arts on 46th Street is followed from its 1980 admission acceptance to 1984 graduation. All of the struggles, triumphs, and fears of students and teachers alike are depicted with razor-sharp wit and memorable tunes. From prejudice, self-worth, and sexuality to literacy, substance abuse, and identity, issues that comprise adolescent coming-of-age lay at the heart of this piece as the young artists navigate the worlds of music, drama, and dance.
