From the moment his tall, red-and-white-striped hat appears at the door, Sally and her brother know that The Cat in the Hat is the most mischievous cat they have ever met. With the trickiest of tricks and craziest of ideas, he turns a rainy afternoon into an amazing adventure. But what will mom find when she gets home?

The Eau Claire Children's Theatre will hold auditions for the upcoming production of DR. SEUSS’S THE CAT IN THE HAT at ECCT, 1814 Oxford Avenue, Eau Claire.

Auditions will be held January 4th and 5th at 7:00 p.m. All performers will read from a collection of Dr. Seuss books and will participate in a variety of movement and pantomime games. No preparation is needed. Roles available for one adult male, one adult male or female, two boys and two girls ages 10-14. Six school matinees and seven public performances are scheduled Feb. 19-22, 27 and 28 at The Oxford.
