The inhabitants of Miss Hildegarde’s boarding house, slightly daft spinster ladies, are smitten with their handsome bachelor neighbor, a homicide detective. When the thrill of peering at him through binoculars wears off, they decide to lure him across the street by murdering one of their own.

Auditions

Auditions will be held on the following days:

There are roles for men and women of various ages. Two men should be 20-35, and three men are in the 30-50 range. Six women need to be 40 and older, and one woman should be younger, 25-35. Every role is open. Shawn Britten is directing. Auditions consist of cold readings from the script. Scripts are available in advance and may be checked out of the box office with payment of a refundable deposit.

Anyone interested in auditioning should report at 7 p.m. on either Monday, February 7, or Tuesday, February 8, entering through the front (lobby) doors. Appointments are not being taken. The Racine Theatre Guild is a nonprofit community (amateur) theatre located at 2519 Northwestern Avenue (Highway 38) in Racine.
