A show about bullying, the play follows Camille, a high school senior, whose former friends don't think she's good enough to date Charlie, a college boy. About an hour long, the play is meant to engender discussion and strategy about dealing with bullies.

A Sky Painted Brown is an original play about bullying, written by members of the Kathie Rasmussen Women's Theatre (Krass), directed by Naomi Bielefeldt

Auditions are April 6, 7pm, at the central downtown branch of the Madison Public Library, room 209. Ask for Krass Theatre. If you want to audition but can't make April 6, email the director, Naomi Bielefeldt, burgundyrose1986@yahoo.com, for an appointment.

Krass will hold a semi-public reading (email artistic@madwomenstage.org to be invited) on APRIL 19
A full production will be performed in early August at the Bartell.

Auditioners for the reading will be asked to read from the script. Script available from artistic@madwomenstage.org

Camille St. Vincent: Age 17, almost 18. Artistic introvert from working class home.
Charlie Rogers: Age 19. College jock from privileged home, sweet and charismatic.
Amy Brown: Age 16. An overweight lesbian sophomore.
Tiffany Rochet: Age 17, almost 18. Upper-class background, dishonest cheater in math class.
Nicholas “Nick” Wilson: Age 17, almost 18. High school basketball star and proud to be a bully.
Alexis “Lexie” Davidson: Camille’s childhood best friend. Age 17, almost 18.
Susan Parker: A veteran art teacher
Lincoln Green: Assistant Principal; he was Susan’s student teacher in the past
Julian Rochet: Tiffany’s father, adult
Allison Rochet: Tiffany’s mother, adult
Cynthia St. Vincent: Camille’s mother, adult
Georgia Rogers: Charlie’s grandmother, older adult
