ARABIAN NIGHTS

By MARY ZIMMERMAN

Directed by Norma Saldivar

Norma Saldivar, head of the MFA-Directing program at UW follows up her acclaimed summer production of 'Master Class' with the Madison premiere of ARABIAN NIGHTS by Mary Zimmerman and her award-winning Lookingglass Theatre Company. To survive the intentions of her murderous king, the young bride Scheherazade spends 1,001 nights beguiling him with tales of an enchanting and sexual world. Love, lust, comedy, and dreams take visually stunning forms in Zimmerman's new adaptation of the classic Persian epic.
