An Ideal Husband is an 1895 comedic stage play by Oscar Wilde which revolves around blackmail and political corruption, and touches on the themes of public and private honour. The action is set in London, in "the present," and takes place over the course of twenty-four hours.

Saturday February 9, Sunday February 10, and Sunday February 17 from 1 5 pm at 22 Chautauqua Trail, Madison, and
Saturday February 16 from 1 5 pm at Sequoyah Public Library, 4340 Tokay Road, Madison

Upstart Crows Productions is a youth theater company. We seek actors ages 12 22. All genders and ethnicities welcome. Casting is gender-blind. Bring resume and headshot if possible. Please prepare a short, 1-2 minute monologue for the audition, either classical or contemporary.

Dress Rehearsal: May 16, 5:00 -10:00pm
Performances: May 17, 18, 24, and 25, 2019; actor call time 5:00pm, curtain at 7:00pm
