An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein
By Shel Silverstein
Directed by George Gonzalez
An Adult Evening… will feature some of Silverstein’s best one acts including The Best Daddy about a little girl who does not understand why her new birthday pony is under a blanket and not moving, and Blind Willie and the Talking Dog, which tells the tale of a poor, street performing Blues singer who disregards the goldmine at his feet. This show is meant for adult audiences with a great sense of humor. Conservative thinkers may be easily offended.
The one-acts will be directed by Producing Director, George Gonzalez, and will be performed with 6 actors (3 men/3 women) playing multiple roles.
Madison will get a taste of The Bricks programming with their production of An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein, by Shel Silverstein, this October at The Frequency, 121 West Main Street, Madison, WI.
