A Charlie Brown Christmas

Christmastime is here and Charlie Brown is feeling down. When Lucy invites him to direct the gang's annual Christmas show, Charlie Brown learns the true meaning of Christmas and his faith in humanity is restored. Snoopy, Linus, Sally, and the rest of Charles Schulz's beloved Peanuts are here to bring your entire family the joys of the holiday season!

This production will be directed by David R. Kilpatrick, with music directed by Mary Blaha-Deboer, choreography by Leslie Weber, and stage management by Sara Adams.

Auditions

Auditions will be held on the following days:

" La Crosse Community Theatre will hold auditions for its upcoming holiday musical production, A Charlie Brown Christmas, on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 28 and 29, at 7 p.m.
  
The role of Charlie Brown will be played by LCT's artistic director, Greg Parmeter,
who is making his LCT stage debut. All other roles are open: 4 men, 5
women and a performer to be Snoopy, who can dance but is not required to
sing.

Actors ages 18 and up are invited to audition. All
are welcome regardless of experience. Auditionees are asked to bring 16
measures of a Broadway show tune. An accompanist will be provided.
Auditionees also should dress comfortably for a dance rehearsal. Scripts
are available to check out for a refundable deposit.
 
Auditions will take place at the Weber Center for the Performing Arts, 428 Front Street South, La Crosse, WI. Scheduled auditions are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. Visit www.lacrossecommunitytheatre.org for more information or call 784-9292 to sign up to audition!


The cast list will be announced at noon on Friday, October 31. Rehearsals will begin the following Monday. The
exact rehearsal schedule to be determined upon casting. Anyone not cast
(or who is otherwise interested) is invited to help in some other way.
Performances will be in Weber Center's Lyche Theatre December 11-21, 2014, Wednesdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sundays at 2 p.m.
