Wisconsin Rapids Community Theatre

The Wisconsin Rapids Community Theatre, Inc., was established in 1975, offering three plays/musicals a season. In 2007, when the group moved into the Gilbert and Jaylee Mead Auditorium, it made a commitment to offer many other theater-related experiences to the area. WRCT now offers four shows throughout the fall, winter, and spring, two childrens productions staged by the Youth Drama Group in the summer, and a variety of smaller shows throughout the year put on by their seniors' group, The Silver Foxes. WRCT also boasts a Studio Theater, which is used in a variety of ways, including Improv nights, workshops on acting, directing, and auditioning, or as a meeting space for local organizations.
