University Theatre
The University Theatre and UW Theatre Department present stimulating and enjoyable theater for audiences of all types and ages. We produce plays from ancients to modern times and integrate them into the academic curriculum. We pursue an artistic policy dedicated to celebrating the diversity of our dramatic heritage. We participate in sponsoring and originating special projects of significance, alone or in collaboration with other university programs. We also provide laboratory opportunities for faculty and student actors, designers, directors and technicians. (See also, University Theatre Open Stage.)
Participation in University Theatre productions is open to members of the university community. Participation in University Summer Theatre productions is open to members of the general community.
