KidStage

9/2/2013 - At this time, I'm saddened to announce that SouthWisco KidStage has taken its final bow. We've enjoyed the time we've had center stage and all the children and families we've helped inspire through the performing arts. You've all been a great support and we will miss you very much. Please keep pursuing your dreams, no matter where they lead you!!!

What is KidStage®?
KidStage® is an after-school/ Summer drama program which involves acting classes, theatre activities and performance opportunities for kids of all ages. The curriculum includes concentration, teamwork, improvisation, movement, voice, theatre terminology, and much more. At the end of the classes, KidStage® Kids have the opportunity to perform in a production. Kids have the opportunity to do it all on stage and off—we’ve had kids as actors, singers, dancers, stage managers, lighting and sound technicians, prop masters and costume designers. Everyone has the opportunity to participate—no one will be left out of the performance!

Where are KidStage® classes held?
KidStage® Classes are held at local schools, day care centers, senior citizen centers, museums, boys and girls clubs, parks, and any other venue which rents open space and is interested in allowing Kids the opportunity to grow through the performing arts.

Will there be a performance at the end of the classes?
YES! KidStage® classes always end in a performance of some kind. This allows the students to get up in front of a live audience and show off their skills and talents.

Who teaches the classes?
All classes are taught by trained, experienced instructors whose goal it is to teach your child about the excitement of theatre, and to provide a safe, interesting environment for each student. Kids who participate in the Arts perform better in school and in social environments. Support your child’s development by supporting their involvement in the Arts!
