Fresco Opera Theatre
Fresco Opera Theatre strives to bring the beauty of operatic music to current opera fans and also to cultivate a new generation of opera lovers by presenting opera from a modern perspective. Our purpose is to present opera in a fresh accessible way by producing creative versions of operas, new works, themed concerts, scene programs, condensed versions of larger works, and fully staged productions.
We will create and provide educational programs that both enrich the operatic experience and encourage future generations of artists and audiences through community outreach, educational initiatives, and collaboration with other arts organizations.
Fresco Opera Theatre wishes to use the gift of this beautiful music as a vehicle for charitable organizations. A percentage of proceeds from performances will go toward a specific charity.

Madison Area Opera Singers Workshop - Ongoing
The Madison Area Opera Singers Workshop is a new monthly opportunity for singers no longer in school to practice their art in a supportive environment.

A pianist will be available to accompany you
(or you may bring your own if you prefer).
The workshops are open to the public, so there will be a few residents of Capitol Lakes as well as other singers, opera enthusiasts, and friends on hand to give encouragement. Light refreshments will be served.
Cost is a one time $10 registration fee.
