StageQ
StageQ is dedicated to presenting quality theater to the Madison community. It will present plays which challenge audiences artistically, build cultural bridges, and offer diverse productions that range from classics to new works, particularly gay-themed plays and works by gay and lesbian playwrights. StageQ is dedicated to celebrating the gay and lesbian community, however people of all sexual orientations are welcomed. The company will promote gays and lesbians in the arts, by featuring 'out' actors, artists, musicians, performers, and writers, and publicizing other local and regional productions which include gay and lesbian plays, writers, and characters, through the use of an Internet web site, www.stageq.com.
Tara Ayres is the Artistic Director of StageQ.
