The Gerald A. Bartell Community Theatre Foundation
Incorporated as a not-for-profit publicly supported organization
under sections 501(a) and 501(c)(3) of the IRS code, the Gerald A.
Bartell Community Theatre Foundation has created and manages the Bartell
Theatre to house the creative endeavours of acting companies.
Mission Statement
To obtain, equip, operate, and maintain suitable live-performance
facilities for the benefit of the public and of the several participating
publicly supported acting companies and additional organizations of
the same class, so as to assist them in carrying out the purposes
for which they are organized. Participating acting companies include
Encore Studio for the Performing Arts, Madison Theatre Guild, Inc.,
Strollers Theatre, Ltd., StageQ, Mercury Players, Inc., and MadCAP.
